Lucky lived with former President Ford and his wife, Betty, at their home in Rancho Mirage, California.
Not much is known about this mixed-breed dog. Lucky appears to have been much less flamboyant than some other presidential pets (including his predecessor, Liberty), living quietly with the Fords in their retirement.
