Taca, a Siberian husky, called President Reagan and his wife, Nancy, his parents.
The Reagans were serious dog lovers, and they had so many dogs that they simply couldn’t have them all in the White House with them. Because they felt that he would be better off with space to roam in, Taca lived out his life on the Reagan ranch, Rancho del Cielo.
Taca is buried on the ranch with all their other beloved pets. The ranch was, as Reagan told his daughter, “if not heaven, at least in the same zip code.”
